Fan who jumped from Yankee Stadium upper deck is banned, AP, August 10, 2006

He nearly gave his life for the Yankees and now Scott Harper has been banned from them – for life. Harper, the reckless fan who jumped from the upper deck onto the foul ball net last season, apparently rejected the DA’s recommendation of probation and restitution to the Yankees. No word yet on exactly how the Yanks intend to enforce the ruling.
